Tourus handmade pickupsが満を辞して送り出すパワーヴィンテージモデル。
一音一音に想いを込めて弾くプレイヤーの全てを拾い上げる、そんなコンセプトで創り上げたモデルがこの"Lone☆Star"。

少し前にリリースした"ADRENA➕"とは兄弟機にあたりますが"ADRENA➕"がモダンサウンドを意識したのに対して当機種はパワーヴィンテージといった棲み分けになります。フラットな特性の中にも中域を犠牲にせずにヴィンテージ感を全面に押し出したトーンはレイ・ヴォーンを初めとするパワーブルース的演奏にジャストフィット。
TS系に代表される歪との相性がとても良くストラトの弱点的なブリッジピックアップでのプレイにおいても最近注目のファズを合わせても若干の音の芯を残しながら熱くドライブしてくれます。
ネック側はクリーントーンは勿論、クランチ程度で弾く12f辺りでのソロワークはヴィンテージ感を特に強く感じられる部分で強力な武器になると思います。そしてミドルは軽快な印象も付加しカッティングは勿論、ハーフトーンにおけるクリアさも備えておりプレイの幅が広がります。

トーン説明で察しの良い方はお気づきと思いますが、当機種はTourus版テキサススペシャルでありFat'60的な存在です。"Lone☆Star"と言うネーミングも「一つ星」=Lone star flag=テキサス州旗から付けました。
